On π Day 2025, I recited the first 1,000 digits of π from memory. Blindfolded. It took 7 months of practice — filling sheet after sheet of paper to check and rebuild my recall.

For the π Day 2025 recitation event I started building a web application — to show the digits on screen, turning green as I spoke them. However I could not get it ready in time. In February/March 2026, I finished it with tremendous help from Claude Code. It has since grown into a full recitation trainer for anyone who wants to practice their recall of π.
